To avoid the problem of miscommunication, we developed numerous forms for just about anything that required an explanation. We use the forms for reference as the discussion takes place and then send the parent and/or patient home with these forms. If a form exists that we liked, we did not bother developing our own.

Presentation of the Compliance Science System (CSS) as a Way to Evaluate the Use of Headgear Anchorage Appliances

The aim of this paper is to present an evaluation system for the use of headgear appliances. This system is called the Compliance Science System (CSS) and it consists of a headgear neckstrap with an electronic module timer, a reader of this module that is connected to the computer and software that reads the information gathered by the module.
