Invisalign is a new treatment method utilizing computer virtual treatments to create a series of clear, removable, esthetic appliances that can treat a wide range of malocclusions. Presented here are two cases with lower incisor crowding, the first was treated with interproximal reduction and the second was treated by extracting a lower right lateral incisor.

Functional orthopedic treatment seeks to correct malocclusions and harmonize the shape of the dental arch and oro-facial functions. Fixed functional appliances first appeared in 1900 when Emil Herbst [3] (Herbst E., 1910) presented his system at the Berlin International Dental Congress. Since then and up to the seventies, very little was published on this appliance.
